![]() Other than those cases I cannot under any circumstances use my warframe unless I'm just quickly transferring in and out to move my warframes location or to reactivate umbraĪs for umbra's abilities with my build he tends to use quick one off abilities like radial howl or slash dash and he ignores channeled abilities like his Exalted blade. And lastly if I physically can't use my operator such as the game simply not allowing me to transfer too the operator. I can use my warframe to level items in hydron for MR but only for leveling and only in hydron. I started a new account and once I aquire my operator i can only play my operator ( which I already have my operator) with a few exceptions, mining, fishing and hunting in open world areas can be done as my warframe but I can't use any of the abilities or attack anything as a warframe. ![]() The rules of the challenge I have imposed on myself is as such:ġ. I'm guessing it can get pretty nuanced once you learn all the ins and outs. Probably a Redirection because he's not going to be doing anything fancy like shield-gating.īeyond that I'm not sure what rules Umbra follows for energy, etc. A full Umbral build with Adaptation should help him survive in spite of himself. AoE damaging abilities and AoE weapons seem like they'll will increase the odds that when he attacks it hurts the enemies you care about. I'm not sure what abilities work well or poorly with his AI, but my assumption is that he isn't going to reliably do anything, especially not when you want him to, so you'll just want to focus on his survival and maximizing the impact whenever he does decide to do something helpful. If that's the case, I would just build Excalibur Umbra to be a tanky AoE machine. My assumption would that you're trying to absolutely minimize Warframe time, and if that's the case you won't be manually casting any Warframe abilities or benefiting from Arcanes like Magus Elevate. This is an interesting challenge! Have you decided on the exact rules you want to follow for this challenge? For example, are you allowed to manually cast Warframe abilities or switch back to your Warframe? Or is the expectation that if you ever find yourself in a Warframe that you should immediately Transference out to minimize your time as a Warframe and maximize your time as the Operator? Depending on your choice, you'll have access to different strategies.
